Winters Tale Country Barn Wedding – Fleur & Adam. Having photographed a wedding on the hottest day of the year, it was now my turn to photograph a wedding on the coldest day of the year. Driving in (carefully) to the barn, the beauty of the frozen landscapes as I approached the aptly named Winters Tale country Barn was simply jaw dropping,

Fleur & Adam were both getting ready at the Barn, each in separate rooms with their son Theo being handed to Adam as we were close to wedding hour to get him ready. Adam’s and Theo’s suits matched which was so adorable and stood at the altar wating for Fleur to arrive, they both looked so sweet together!

Despite the all day freezing temperatures, the day was so lovely due to the beautiful winter sun. With the planned smoke bomb photos and portrait time, which included matching Hunters Welly’s and Barbour Jackets we made the absolute most of it all, returning the newly weds back in to the warmth of the barn for their wedding breakfast. Afterwards; a quiz hosted by the best man, speeches, a kids disco and then first dance leading in to the evening celebrations, for me the day was over and as I was de-icing my car for my journey home, I reflected that for my last wedding before Christmas I was so happy that Fleur & Adam decided to choose me as their photographer. Such a brilliant day.

To Fleur & Adam, I loved your wedding day and it was so much fun being your wedding photographer. Thank you also for looking after me drinks and snacks and the amazing meal, it all helps me concentrate on the important task of taking photographs on your wedding day. Congratulations guys!
