MY STYLE

'One of the best decisions
we made was having Marcus as our wedding photographer. He has captured the day
beautifully, documenting all of those little moments that make the day so
special. He put us at ease throughout the day and managed to capture all of our
guests’ personalities in shots that we will treasure forever. '

UNFILTERED MOMENTS

BOLD COLOUR

ENERGY!

I want to capture the same thing you desire for your wedding day - a joyous, stunning, and emotionally charged experience that you will cherish for a lifetime. My approach to photography centres around documenting every moment of your special day, photographing as much as possible to show the story of your wedding from start to finish. By working together, we can create images that truly encapsulate the essence of your wedding and serve as a lasting memento of your wedding day story.

There's nothing quite like the power of photography to preserve the memories of your wedding day, and I'm here to help you make that happen.

My wedding story blogs provide perfect examples of how I shoot real weddings.

UNPOSED’ POSED PORTRAITS?

Taken in a relaxed style, you won't feel like you are being repeatedly posed, it's just about standing close together, sometimes walking, having some chat and super fun giggles as excited newly weds. We won't be away from your wedding for ages, just enough time to photograph you being amazing together.

DOCUMENTARY REPORTAGE?

I like to let your wedding day happen and for me to photograph what is really happening on your wedding day. I constantly look for the moments and all the emotive, crazy, fun stuff going on, nothing preserves memories like photos.

GROUP SHOT FUN

Most couples require a keepsake of family or friends from your wedding, and before your day I will request a concise formal group shot list from you. Every minute at a group shot is a minute away from the important champers, nibbles and spending fun time with your guests, so group shots are completed in a fast and fuss free fashion.

Storytelling

Capturing your wedding day as a narrative through storytelling photography. From preparations to party, I'll provide you with a collection of photographs, each with its own significant memory that encapsulate the essence of your special day.

creative

Whether it's playing with composition and lighting or experimenting with both natural and flashy flash lighting to create unique images, I aim to infuse creativity and originality into every shot. Whether we're capturing candid moments or staging elaborate set pieces, I'm always looking to push the boundaries of traditional photography and create something truly extraordinary.

PARTY

I stay after the first dance, so that I can capture all the excitement and mad party time of you and your guests finally letting loose and having the celebration you've been looking forward to all day. This is the best most funnest part of the day, I'll be there to photograph it all!

we got answersGOT A QUESTION?

Q: How much in advance should I book?

A: I receive over 400 enquiries a year and most key dates are booked 12 to 18 months in advance so when you’ve made the decision that you want me to be a part of your day, please book me as soon as you are able. But please, even if you are planning a wedding at short notice, drop me a note with your date as you never know, short notice weddings are always welcome, providing I am available.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Absolutely, venues welcome fully insured photographers.

Q: Equipment

A: I'm completely equipment savvy, but just in case you did want to know I invest in the very best current wedding photography bling, with enough spare kit to shoot your day twice and possibly a bit more. In case the detail is important to you, I have three Nikon mirrorless setups and a fourth spare camera with random additional lenses, you know, just in case. I always bring flashguns and some extra lighting equipment not only to help capture mad portraits and moments from your day, but if the weather gets really rubbish and we have to shoot everything indoors I have enough lighting kit with me to take portraits and groups inside.

Q: Where are you based and do you travel?

A: I am based in Stoke Mandeville near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire and will travel to any part of the UK. Reasonable travel for same day there and back is no more than about 90 minutes, we may need to talk about a B&B if the travel time is longer. If it is hyper distance we may need to talk about a little surcharge for fuel.

Q: Paperwork

A: Nothing too complicated, a contract to set out in open and straight forward terms that I will be your wedding photographer and what you have chosen to include for your wedding photography. Plus a receipt showing clearly your wedding collection price, deposits and balance. I’ll also supply you with a planning form which will be my wedding photography list and schedule for your day, this ensures I know all the fab stuff that is happening on your day.

Q: We're happy! How do we book you?

A: That's brilliant! It’s really straightforward, simply click the ‘contact’ link above and provide me with your exciting wedding plans. I will endeavour to contact you back within 24 hours with full information and pricing. A £300 deposit secures me for your date.
