Bake Barn at Fonthill Estate Wedding – Georgie & Kirsty
A beautiful wedding weekend for a beautiful couple at Fonthill Estate
Bake Barn at Fonthill Estate Wedding – Georgie & Kirsty. I met Georgie four years ago at the wedding of Claire & Jamie, since then Georgie met Kirsty and romance blossomed so I was extremely happy to speak to them about their own wedding, to be hosted at Bake Barn in the stunning extensive Fonthill Estate near Salisbury.
This wedding was to be in two parts. Two frikking amazing parts.
Day 1 – The legal wedding day.
I never know quite how a wedding is going to be before I get there, however within 10 minutes of starting I knew this was going to be both a mad and a very heartfelt emotional time. Georgie and Kirsty boast an exceptional array of friends and family members, evident through the profound and unmistakable love shown by everyone around them. As the wedding ceremony was performed and they were declared as officially wed, it was such a privilege to be part of this intimate and beautiful time.
Day 2 – How to describe this day. A mad party celebration!
The weather was proper rainy in the morning, however with it set to stop just after the ceremony we kept our weather fingers crossed! In the morning I spent a little time with Georgie and her bride squad at her B&B complete with a swimming pool and was introduced to Jerry the inflatable lifeguard. Then off to see Kirsty and her bride squad at the cottage which turned in to the hub for prep before moving on to Bake Barn at Fontshill Estate.
The ceremony procession started by a growned up dancing flower girl throwing confetti at everyone and bringing in the bridesmaids, then the growned up flower girl’s husband hosting the ceremony, followed afterwards with a super relaxed agenda, everyone enjoying themselves.
There was one moment late in the afternoon I decided to stop in the centre of the outside courtyard and take it all in. Guests chatting and laughing all around the venue. Fantastic live music including vocal mega-ness appearances by Georgie. The lovely smells from the food trucks. Stunning scenery. This is what weddings are about!
Shout outs:
Fonthill Weddings and Events. Beautiful venue, stunning scenery.
The Jumping Jockey Bar. The amazing Jamie and Claire providing their portable bar and helping to make sure everyone at the wedding had a great time. And thank you for referring me for this wedding.
Dorset Dub hire. A perfect example of a VW camper and such a lovely helpful driver as well.
Hair and Makeup by: Nipona of Nipz MUA and Amy Inwood Beauty.
Imagicool: Andre and Yazz bringing their Polaroid Festival vibes helping capturing memories of this amazing day.
Georgie’s Suit: King and Allen Bespoke Tailors – a fully inclusive tailor that celebrates diversity.
The unofficial Smirnoff Ice marketeer: I can’t remember your name, however I have countless photos of you showing me your Smirnoff ice. Collage below!
Jerry the inflatable lifeguard: My only disappointment is that you didn’t make it on to the dancefloor along with your massive inflatable unicorn friend.
My last and most important shoutout has to go to the newly weds, Georgie & Kirsty. I firmly believe couples bring the vibe to the wedding. And oh my days did you bring a vibe to your wedding. You guys were amazing and I had so much fun being your wedding photographer. From my heart, congratulations guys, such a joy to be your wedding photographer. Thank you so much!
Love is love!
