My first wedding of the Year, a stunning sunny early January wedding!

Tythe Barn Launton – Kathryn & Rob – Being my first wedding of the year 2020, I was mega excited and totally buzzing when I arrived to meet Kathryn for bride prep at their home. I’d visited here before and can remember what a beautiful home they have created, so to be shooting bride prep with her amazing friends and family, complimented by the very nicely cooked sausage and scrambled eggs I was offered, it was all so awesome! Thank you!

The wedding was taking place at the church in Launton with the celebrations at the Tythe Barn, Launton. This is one of those dream combo wedding days that I look forward to. The church and the barn are connected by a short walk way, meaning that once the ceremony is over, everyone can just walk through and start the wedding party celebrations!

Kathryn & Rob are such a amazing couple and it was brilliant to see them have such a beautiful ceremony in such a stunning church. The weather as well was perfect. Despite it being the heart of winter, it was sunny like Summer and for the time of year it was so warm. They completed a very bubbly confetti walk in the church yard, then the requested portrait / group shots at both the church and the barn before heading in properly for food, speeches and the evening celebrations.

Hosting the evening it was great to see DJ Paul Kavanagh again, super professional and amazing at this job, always a pleasure. I was informed of the plans for the first dance and even though I knew what was going to happen, seeing a sort of romantic dance followed very quickly by the entire wedding doing the conga round the barn with Rob in the lead, was just so funny, I nearly couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ll never forget that, the best first dance ever! I loved this day; the team at the Tythe Barn are so lovely to work with and all the wedding guests were so friendly. Even when I had completed the evening photos I really just didn’t want to leave. Kathryn & Rob, you absolutely rocked your wedding day!
