Notley Abbey Wedding – Maddie & Max: Winding the clock back nearly a decade, I met the lovely Tom and Rebecca at a wedding show and photographed their wedding, which was brilliant fun. Incidentally one of Rebecca’s bridesmaids then asked me to photograph her wedding in 2021 (the lovely Fizz and Stocks!), and winding back to the present, Tom’s sister Maddie approached for availability for her own wedding to Max, at the stunning Notley Abbey.

Max it turns out had played Rugby 7’s for England, which is a proper achievement! And as you’d expect we had a good set of large gentleman at the wedding, which was important as for when Max asked to be throw in the air, they threw him high and the important bit as we had a couple of man mountains ready to catch him. And it was so lovely to see all the family, and getting to know everyone on both sides everyone was so lovely. The weather was fab, everyone was having a great time, the evening party was mental! I loved this day.

Photographing weddings is all about capturing authentic, real moments throughout the day. I loved this wedding day as it was full of everyone just being themselves. No staging, no trends, just proper genuine fun. I am so glad you chose me for your day. And thank you also for looking after me with drinks and snacks and the amazing venue meal, it all helps me to concentrate on the important task of taking photographs on your wedding day.
