Wasing Park Wedding – Heather & Ben
Finally after multiple re-arrangements we are at Wasing Park for this amazing wedding!
Wasing Park Wedding – Heather & Ben. I first met this amazing couple at a wedding fair in 2018, with a planned date in May 2020, then that was moved, then moved again, but finally here we are, finally nearly four years after we first met, with two pre-wedding shoots under our belt, for the Wasing Park wedding of Heather & Ben.
During bride prep, there seemed to be hundreds of bridesmaids walking around coming in and out of different doors in the cottage, but once we collected everyone together for a quick photo, I realised Heather had six bridesmaids. Slightly less than a hundred, but these ladies were so full of excitement for Heathers wedding day, combined with the massive amount of excitement Heather herself was barely able to contain, it was all a bit mad, good mad, but still quite mad.
Moving over from the cottage to Wasing Park itself, I remembered now how stunning this venue is. Honestly this place has everything a wedding photographer could ever dream of with regards to the setting, light, beautiful cottages, flowers, everything was just perfect.
Come W-hour, the seemingly unflappable Ben contrasted nicely with the sheer excitable bubble of wedding-ness that Heather brought with her, when they met at the aisle it was just so brilliant to see. Four years and finally here!
Group shots were so much fun, the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos were just brilliant! We followed up with a few sets of portraits in the afternoon, wedding breakfast, speeches, an additional set of evening portraits then it was time to party! Heather kept it a secret that she had a second dress for the evening, and Ben’s jaw actually dropped when he saw her. Love it.
To Heather & Ben, I loved your wedding day, it was an absolute pleasure to be your Wasing Park wedding photographer and thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. Thank you also for looking after me with cups of teas, snacks and a hot meal, especially the hot meal, it all helps me concentrate on the important task of taking photographs on your wedding day.
Dream team at this wedding: Flowers by Blossom and Ivy (nice to see you again!). Dress by Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery.
Congratulations guys!
Dear Reader, if you have seen this blog and looking for a wedding photographer, possibly planning your own wedding at Wasing Park or anywhere else in the country, I would love to hear from you!
