Hedsor House Wedding – Lorraine & Antony. My first wedding of 2022 and what an amazing start to the year this was! Visiting the beautiful Hedsor House is always such a pleasure and to be there with the amazing Lorraine and Antony for their wedding on a fine early Spring day was just the absolute best day ever.

Lorraine was getting ready with her bride squad in the bridal suite, this is such a striking wing of the house, with the four poster bed and the stunning decor, it really is the best setting ever for bride prep. Antony was literally two doors away in the Dustin Suite, quietly readying himself for W hour.

Lorraine and Antony opted to reverse the standard centre hall wedding ceremony setup, so that Lorraine could come straight down the stairs and in to the room to meet Antony at the end of the aisle. You know what, I think I prefer that, it seems to work brilliantly. Such a beautiful ceremony and then with group shots complete we took the newly weds for a walk around the grounds ending in a captivating sunset before walking back in for the wedding breakfast, speeches and party! And what a party it was, you need to see the images below to see!!

Having a passing chat with the Hedsor House wedding co-ordinator during the wedding breakfast we commented as to what a multi-national wedding this was. Antony’s heritage is Welsh, which may not seem a big deal normally but there was a point during the pandemic when the borders were closed, however more relevant was that Lorraine’s family are mainly from Israel and with international travel only really opening up properly recently, it was absolutely lovely to see everyone.

To Lorraine and Antony, it was an absolute pleasure to be your Hedsor House wedding photographer and thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding day.
