Kirtlington Park Wedding – Felicity & Lawrence. You know when you see on TV or in a movie, for example any type of period drama, or a Father Brown, or a Midsomer Murders, any time where they show a stunning massive stately home set in it’s own extensive grounds? Well Kirtlington Park has this high level of grandeur and is where Felicity & Lawrence chose to host their wedding. My jaw absolutely dropped when I visited a week before their wedding to walk and talk our way through their plans, however when I arrived on the day to see it all dressed and set for the wedding, wow!

I’d met Felicity and Lawrence a few years before at the wedding of Rebecca & Tom, Felicity is dear friend of Rebecca’s and was one of Rebecca’s bridesmaids. It was great to see Rebecca today as a bridesmaid along with her young daughter as their flower girl. So lovely to have a catch up!

Felicity started to get ready at her beautiful family cottage before moving off to Kirtlington Park for the last bits of prep and to dress. Lawrence was already there with his groomsmen, my absolutely amazing associate photographer Chris was with them as they had decided to have two photographers to capture as many moments as possible throughout their wedding day.

It was definitely an ‘oh gosh’ moment when Felicity entered the packed ceremony room, she looked absolutely stunning! With a beautiful emotional ceremony, followed by the group photos which included a quick appearance by their extremely energetic pet British Bulldog, we then took the newly weds on a walk to capture portraits in the stunning grounds.

Speeches were definitely a highlight of this wedding. Via video link we were joined by absent close family friends and a groomsmen in Australia, looking round the room it was a mix of tears and laughter all the way through. Followed afterwards by the best evening party action I’ve seen in ages, it’s a wedding I will always remember fondly. Not just because of the stunning setting, but because everyone was so lovely and celebrated this wedding in the absolute best way possible.
