Fun filled wedding day starting in Harrow and celebrating at Blake Hall Weddings – Ongar
Blake Hall Wedding – Alicia & Daniel – This is another wedding day where I met the couple at a previous wedding, the main thing I remember about Alicia is that once she hit the dancefloor at Sammi & Martin’s wedding, she was dancing, dancing, dancing the whole night. Looking back at the photos every shot of the dance floor had Alicia and Daniel somewhere in it. I was therefore extremely happy to be here for their own wedding, planned to start in Harrow Weald at Alicia’s parents house, with the ceremony at their beautiful family church, St Michael’s and all Angels (and it was stunning inside, check out the photos!), then to drive for a bit around the M25 to Blake Hall Weddings, which is a beautiful series of barns with some beautiful gardens for newly wed portraits.
Alicia and Daniel’s theme for the day was ‘a day at the beach’, this is Alicia’s family’s fave vibe, the garden at the house had a beach theme, lots of little detail everywhere. Their house was setup really well for the bride-prep with a modified large mirror with stick-on LED lights to give it that ‘stage’ dressing room feel. Mix in with a viral bridal squad tiktok vid and Grandad somehow managing to tie a windsor knot backwards, such great time.
The vicar at the church has known the family for a long time and had some great stories during the sermon, it’s always so nice when their is a real connection and such a lovely moment when they were announced as husband and wife. You could see the real joy in everyone’s faces! Not only did they dance out of the church, so did all the wedding party, such a brilliant time! Moving on to Blake Hall Weddings afterwards for the wedding celebration, it is such a lovely and well run venue, definitely providing such a great setting for everyone to unwind and enjoy the rest of this fabulous day. The formalities ended with the first dance being the most epic natural choreographed dance I’ve seen, you guys rocked that!
Alicia & Daniel, it was a pleasure to get to know you and your families much better in the build up and on your wedding day, I am so pleased you picked me as your wedding photographer.
