Dodford Manor Wedding – Daniela & Kyle
An amazing Italian wedding starting at St Frances Cabrini Italia Church then the stunning Dodford Manor
Dodford Manor Wedding – Daniela & Kyle: Possibly I’m biased as my wife is Italian, but I love love love Italian weddings! I was so excited when Daniela and Kyle booked me for their big day and although Kyle is not Italian I just knew that Daniela’s Ma and family would bring some amazing Italian tradition and celebrations to this day.
Bride prep at Daniela’s parents house was busy and crazy fun, the excitement of the day was starting early! The house was full of wedding decorations, personalised wedding cupcakes, Daniela received a wedding box with lots of thoughtful items to get her through her day, plus received some very touching momento’s from her Bridesmaids.
As we arrived at The St Frances Cabrini Italia Church just down the road in Bedford, I could see that Daniela was so excited jumping out of the car with such a big smile on her face, Kyle however was just a ‘little’ nervous waiting at the altar. The service was traditional including communion with the priest doing a hilarious ‘mic drop’ at the end, I’m guessing it was accidental but a fitting finale to an epic wedding service. Outside the confetti as usual with Italian weddings was crazy and spontaneous, seemingly never ending, I think I had as much over me as the newly weds. Completing with a few shots outside the church we all headed off to Dodford Manor with Two Hearts Wedding Cars where the celebrations could start!
I love Dodford Manor. It is very contained and has the most beautiful areas to photography newly weds, plus for general storytelling moment capture there just isn’t a bad shot to be taken here. However seeing how Daniela and Kyle had dressed Dodford Manor for their wedding they took it to another level! The detail on the tables, the flower wall, the cake, the decorations on the gift/signing table, it all looked amazing, such a beautiful setting for the wedding breakfast, speeches and the evening celebrations. First dance had the couple covered in confetti strings to the point of we lost them, then the traditional Italian music started and they had a full dance floor for the rest of the evening. This was such an amazing day!
I want to offer Daniela and Kyle a massive congratulations and thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. If you enjoyed reading this blog and you are planning your own wedding day at Dodford Manor or anywhere else in the country (or abroad), I would love to hear from you!
