Notley Abbey Wedding – Sinead & Rob
An Autumnal wedding Visit to the stunning Notley Abbey with Sinead & Rob
Notley Abbey Wedding – Sinead & Rob. I would like to start off by saying a massive thank you to Amy of White Lace & Butterflies, who referred myself and other members of the Bucks Wedding Team to Sinead & Rob, thus allowing us to be part of this amazing wedding day. Thank you so much!
White Lace and Butterflies supplying Sinead’s amazing dress and veil. Simply Alpa with the Irish heritage themed cake and The Flower Wedding Specialist providing custom designed flowers. And of course me!
A massive kudos as well to the team at Notley Abbey, looking after everyone and making sure the day ran super smoothly, always a pleasure to work alongside you!
Before we get in to the heart of the blog, first of all, three cool facts about bride prep. Sinead’s Dad makes the most amazing layered café latte. Sinead’s Mum makes the most amazing cookies. The squirrel’s in the back garden who frequent the bird feeder really are the most well looked after I’ve ever seen, they were huge. I honestly think these guys are fully prepared for Winter this year and next.
Both Sinead and Rob are of Irish heritage and a lot of family and friends were fully in the spirit of having a massive party all day, Sinead’s Dad even has a barrel of aged whisky against the family name which was shared out during the speeches. I’m not a whisky drinker, and of course I was working, but I’m told as far as whisky’s go it was good! Also it was the first time in a while that a lot of the family had got together and to be amongst all of this as it was happening was just so brilliant.
The evening was a ceilidh. I was both very excited and very nervous as they are absolutely mad and last time I received a black eye whilst in the heart of it all photographing the enthusiastic ‘not sure whether I should be going left or right or in or out’ dancing. Seeing every single able bodied person dancing led by the amazing live band and I didn’t get a black eye at the end of it all, just a few bruises on my shins and a few knocks here and there, I would say this was a perfect end to a perfect day.
To Sinead & Rob, it was an absolute pleasure to be your Notley Abbey wedding photographer and thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding day. Also thank you for the three course hot meal during your wedding breakfast, it all helps us concentrate on the sole important aspect of photographing your wedding day and is very much appreciated.
Congratulations guys!
Also a massive thank you to Chris for working with me as my second photographer. Top job as always dude, see you at the next one!
Dear Reader, if you have seen this blog and looking for a wedding photographer, possibly planning your own wedding at Notley Abbey or anywhere else in the country, I would love to hear from you!
