Hampden House Wedding – Amy & Lloyd: About ten years ago I met Amy for the first time when she was working at events in a local hotel before heading off to Uni. Fast forward to the present, she returned with a Doctorate and a fiancé and wanted to talk to me about their wedding plans which was absolutely fantastic. Working with them they selected the stunning Hampden House set in the Chilterns, notably this venue was owned many years ago by Hammer Horror for a load of very classic horror flicks and more lately has been used for Midsomer Murders, a few Hollywood films, and is the setting for loads of Agatha Christie mysteries, such as Mrs Marple and Poirot to name a few.

Amy & Lloyd fit 100% in to my perfect couple profile. All they want to do is party all the way through their wedding day. Ok yes their are formal parts of the day, the ceremony, group shots, time away from everyone for some relaxed portraits, speeches, but the rest of the time everyone was in a proper celebratory mode and I was instructed to; ‘just you be you’ allowing me the freedom to take as many mad moments as possible. We had a bouquet throw to replace confetti, the heart shaped sunglasses made many appearances all the way through the day, but mainly Amy & Lloyd were absolutely brilliant having the best time ever at their wedding!

Amy & Lloyd, I loved your wedding day and it was so much fun being your wedding photographer, I’m so glad you chose me for your day. Thank you also for looking after with me drinks and snacks and the amazing venue meal, it all helps me concentrate on the important task of taking photographs on your wedding day. Congratulations guys!
