De Vere Latimer Estate Wedding – Hannah & Louis
A beautiful Easter Sunday wedding at the stunning De Vere Latimer Estate
De Vere Latimer Estate Wedding – Hannah & Louis. Receiving the initial email enquiry from Hannah and Louis, I had to ask if they had made a typo as they had the same surname even before they were married, but yes, it was correct and it sounds like Hannah is going to have an easy time updating her official details after their wedding! They booked me after a few email exchanges and a phone call, so to finally meet them both for the first time face to face at their venue a few weeks before their wedding was a pleasure, talking and walking through their plans, it was exciting to hear how they wanted to keep their day to be as relaxed as possible and for the photos to reflect that. I love it when I’m given time to capture the random stuff that can happen at weddings!
Despite living only a few miles from the De Vere Latimer Estate and shooting weddings all over for seven years, this is my first visit here to shoot a wedding. I’ve been waiting and waiting to receive a booking for this stunning venue, so now to be presented with such an amazing couple and with the weather set to be so good, I was excited to see what magic I could capture.
On the morning of the wedding I met with Louis to take a few portraits of him and his groomsmen, I was told that dice rolls had a big part to play on the Stag do, with certain numbers meaning that you had to down your drink in one. Louis had dice cuff-links, the groomsmen had special dice and guests during the day produced dice randomly. These really came to play in the evening with dice being rolled every where from the dance floor to the bar, any unlucky (or lucky?) losers having to down their drinks.
Visiting Hannah when she was ready I have to see her all made up and in her dress, she looked jaw droppingly amazing, complemented beautifully by her bridesmaids wearing white dresses. All together with their cheeky little flower girl the bride squad really looked all set to wow everyone at the wedding.
The day was exactly how the happy couple wanted it to be, fun, relaxed, everyone having a good time. Moving through from the group shots to the portraits and in to the wedding breakfast, with such amazing sunny weather it was a dream to photograph it all. Speeches were so emotive and then in to the evening was where the real fun started, a full dance floor all the time I was there. I’m so pleased I was asked to be their wedding photographer, this day from beginning to end was pure photography gold!
I want to offer Hannah and Louis a massive congratulations and thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. If you enjoyed reading this blog and you are planning your own wedding day at the stunning De Vere Latimer Estate or anywhere else in the country (or abroad), I would love to hear from you!
