Tewin Bury Farm Wedding – Vicky & Sean
Lovely Sunny day for the wedding of Vicky & Sean at Tewin Bury Farm
Tewin Bury Farm Wedding – Vicky & Sean. I’ve been waiting for ages to visit Tewin Bury Farm, the lockdown meant that a few weddings including Vicky & Sean’s lead to multiple postponements however finally I was here for an actual wedding, and what a wedding this turned out to be!
Vicky was getting ready on site with her very organised quite pregnant maid of honour and her Mum helping her gently calm those nerves as we got ever closer to W hour. Sean was hovering around, I think he was quite nervous, however all smiles and excited, exactly how it all should be.
Finally we were there; these guys meeting at the altar, it was a transformation for both of them from hyper nervous to hyper smiley all in about two seconds, it was so lovely to see them together at last getting married and just having so much fun with it all!
In the garden area of the Tythe Barn we had a mega confetti line followed by drinks with some ever so much fun group shots, then I took the happy couple for some time alone for their newly wed portrait shots.
Speeches were ever so touching, clearly clearly so much love in the room. Then the proper fun started! Sean brought in a mini-console with the retro arcade game ‘Outrun’ which was one of my faves and I think the younger generation weren’t too sure but it became a firm fave as the evening went on. Vicky and Sean really like their rock music, so they made sure their live band matched their choice in music and boy were these guys good. I know Sean liked his music but the moves he had on that dance floor were absolutely amazing, loved it all to bits! Sean you are a God of Rock!! Such an amazing day from beginning to end.
Special mention must go to the cake topper, Mr and Mrs Dinosaur, so funny. And with the table names matching places out of their favourite films as well, such as Isla Nublar (Jurassic Park), Amity Island (Jaws) and Godrics Hollow (Harry Potter). Oh, and Vicky’s shoes had a retro 8-bit arcade theme. Being in to all things sci-fi, gaming and movies myself, I completely appreciated all these subtle touches.
Vicky and Sean, I’m so glad you chose me as your wedding photographer all those months ago when we met at the wedding fair and thank you for looking after me with all the food during the day, you guys are so thoughtful and lovely! Congratulations and here is a mini story of your day below.
If you have seen this blog and looking for a wedding photographer, maybe planning your own wedding at Tewin Bury Farm or anywhere else in the country, I would love to hear from you!
