Every wedding day is built up of a series of never to be repeated moments, my style reflects a moment driven story telling approach, to not just capture the moments that are predictable at every wedding but to look for all the unrehearsed emotive moments that happen all throughout the day. It's your day, I won't be directing, only offering helpful suggestions as needed based upon my experience as a seasoned wedding photographer.
I will photograph your portraits, taking you away and allowing you to have some time to yourselves. Although I’m renowned for my fine art approach to my wedding portraiture and it is always my pleasure to capture you at your finest, you won't feel like you are being endlessly posed, it's just about standing close together, sometimes walking, having some chat and giggles as super newly weds.
Most couples require a keepsake of family or friends getting together on your wedding day, group shots are completed quickly and efficiently always. I will request a formal group shot list from you and work with your awesome ushers to make them happen.
No labels or set style, for the rest of the day I like to let the day happen and act as witness to what is really happening on your wedding day. It's about looking for the the moments and capturing all the crazy fun going on, these make your wedding day story shine!
If you would like to find out more about how I work and so we can get to know each other, please contact me as I always welcome a chat over a good strong latte or espresso.
Q: Where are you based and do you travel?
A: I am based in Stoke Mandeville near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire but I have and will travel to any part of the UK, even abroad if required, with Italy so far being one of my favourite destinations, hopefully you can present me with a new favourite place!
Q: Are you insured?
A: Absolutely. I am fully insured with both public liability and indemnity insurance, meeting most wedding venues requirements.
A: Most couples take good confidence I'm completely equipment savvy, but just in case you did want to know, I use professional level camera and lighting equipment, with enough spare kit to shoot your day twice and possibly a bit more. I always bring professional lighting equipment not only to help capture unique portraits and moments from your day, but if the weather gets really bad and we have to shoot everything indoors, I have enough lighting kit with me to take portraits and groups inside.
Q: How do you take your coffee?
A: Anything with strong espresso and no sugar thanks!
A: Nothing too complicated, a contract to set out in open and honest clear terms that I will be your wedding photographer and what you have chosen to include for your wedding photography, plus a receipt showing clearly your wedding collection price, deposits and balance. I’ll also supply you with a blank form which is my wedding photography schedule along with a guide, that ensures we are agreed about the full timing of all parts of your day.
Q: How much in advance should I book?
A: I receive enquiries regularly, most key dates are booked 12 to 18 months in advance so when you’ve made the decision that you want me to be a part of your day, please book me as soon as you are able. But please, even if you are planning a wedding at short notice, drop me a note with your date as you never know, short notice weddings are always welcome, providing I am available.
Q: We're happy! How do we book you?
A: It’s really straightforward, simply click the ‘contact’ link above and provide me with your exciting wedding plans. I will endeavour to contact you back within 24 hours with full information and pricing. A £250 deposit secures me for your date.
