Huntsmill Farm Wedding – Lucy & Jordan
Hottest day on record for this beautiful Huntsmill Farm wedding
Huntsmill Farm Wedding – Lucy & Jordan. Before I write a few words about this amazing wedding day, I just want to ask you if you remember that Tuesday where the highest ever temperature in the UK was recorded at over 40C. Well that was this day. It was hot, not just in the sun, but in the shade and even the breeze was hot. The saving grace though was the barn at Huntsmill Farm had air con, Yay!
Lucy and Jordan were in separate cottages getting ready at the beautiful Huntsmill Farm, both having a lovely fun time with their friends and family. Emma and her team from Signature Flowers was preparing the barn ready for the wedding, with the most colourful vibrant display of flowers ever.
When it was time for Lucy to walk up the aisle to meet Jordan there was a long pause, looking down to where Lucy was about to come in I could see she was a little overcome with the emotion of it all but when she started to walk then it was Jordan’s turn to be a little overcome with it all, you guys are just beautiful!
With a mix of some outdoor time where the crew at Huntsmill Farm were just brilliant in making sure everyone was looked after in the heat, and some indoor time in the oh so welcome aircon barn, it was time for the street food wedding breakfast, speeches and then some mad fun time in the evening, which included some quite in depth discussion as to which is the best Krispy Kreme donut ever (chocolate dreamcake of course!). We hoped for a sunset during the overcast evening and it surprised us with a short appearance so we absolutely made the most of that time visiting one of the fields adjacent to the venue.
Lucy’s dress; another amazing dress by Whitelace and Butterflies. It’s almost every wedding now throughout Summer that brides are wearing these unique beautiful dresses.
To Lucy & Jordan, I loved your wedding day it was so much fun being your wedding photographer and I’m glad you chose me for your day. Thank you also for looking after me with drinks, snacks and the amazing street food, it all helps me concentrate on the important task of taking photographs on your wedding day. Congratulations guys!
Dear Reader, if you have seen this blog and looking for a wedding photographer, possibly planning your own wedding at Huntsmill Farm or anywhere else in the country, I would love to hear from you!
