Bucks Wedding Photography
Bucks Wedding Photography: I was contacted earlier this year by Mary and David after they found me on good old Google! A series of emails later and I was booked in to cover their big day. Little did I know then that this would be one of the best Bucks weddings I have ever covered. They wanted to use Mary’s parents’ house as the wedding venue, and after I went there for the pre-wedding photo shoot I can completely see why. I did have to good fortune of visiting it on a sunny spring day but I think even on a gloomy day this house would be magnificent. Set in Speen and with a massive garden, this house is surrounded b the most beautiful views and makes just as good a setting as any other wedding venue. What’s more, Mary’s mum had timed her garden flowers just right to be in full bloom and tip top condition.
Pretty soon the wedding day came and as I arrived at the house to prep, I was taken aback by how stunning everything looked. On one of the hottest days in July, you really couldn’t ask for more for a perfect wedding. I really must commend the time and effort that had gone into making every last detail perfect, both in the garden and throughout the house. Outside boasted a Pimms gazebo and a marquee for the guests, and Tom, Mary’s brother, was ferrying the happy couple back to the house from the local church in a fitting refurbished tractor.
Now there’s something I haven’t mentioned yet… oh yes, there was a theme to this wedding. It wasn’t your typical theme however; it was the Scouts and Guides Association! Both Mary and David along with a large proportion of their family are heavily involved with the Association so it seemed only right. This was accompanied by a theme of ‘bike parts’, something which cropped up throughout the day in the form of various tales including a tandem bike breakdown.
The day went on without a hitch, with catering supplied by Rangers (organised by Mary’s mum), and it must be said that the waiter team were highly attuned to every guests need and provided an excellent service. The bride looked beautiful in her wedding dress, perfectly complimenting such a glorious setting. David also looked dapper with a full top and tails wedding suit. Even the confetti was perfect – that’s how great this wedding was!
I would like to say a personal thank you for how I was looked after by everyone throughout the day. The bride and groom and immediate family kept asking if I had eaten and had enough to drink and the groomsman Chris (awesome beard) was giving me glasses of iced water and vocal support during the formals. Thank you to everyone.
I have included additional images than the norm in this blog as I understand that some relatives couldn’t make the day, so hello to you all and I hope the following images give you a good account of Mary and David’s stunning wedding day.
