Tring Wedding Photography
Tring Wedding Photography: Andrew and Laura me booked to cover their Tring wedding in July, and I had already met with them to shoot their beautiful pre-wedding photographs at The Dairy, Waddesdon Manor. This time, however, was the big day; the shoot began at the stunning St Peter and St Pauls church in Tring, which is simply the perfect location if you want a traditional white wedding. We got there early to greet the groom and groomsmen at the church, an ideal opportunity to get some pictures, along with pre-wedding jitters! Laura soon arrived in the most beautiful dress – a 20s style wedding dress which complimented her perfectly.
Following the ceremony, I followed the bride and groom for a walk around the Tring Memorial Park, which made for some lovely photography, before the celebrations continued at The Gatsby in Berkhamstead, a restaurant and piano bar which continues the theme with a retro movie feel about it. As such, the guests had been asked to dress accordingly.
Laura and Andrew had requested I take the wedding photographs in a ‘reportage’ style, so as not to interrupt the day too much. I therefore took the bride and groom away only for a few quick shots, and the rest were as requested, reporter style. A special request did come in for a moody ‘chair shot’, which although fun, was super quick as I only had a 5 minute slot between the tables being cleared and the band setting up – nothing quite like cutting it fine!
The rest of the evening consisted of an outside BBQ, and what seemed like a whole production line of cocktails (good job as one table in particular had decided to taste the whole cocktail menu!). I would like to say a huge thank you to Laura and Andrew for allowing me to be a part of your special day, congratulations!
