Marcus Charter Wedding Photography – Best of 2016
My review of an amazing year of wedding photography!
This year has been amazing. I wish I could express myself better to be honest, but looking back through the thousands and thousands of images I’ve delivered, thinking about every single wedding I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of, words fail me, it’s just been an amazing year. Every wedding venue, every couple, every ceremony, every first kiss, every tear, every bit of laughter, every confetti throw, every celebration, every bit of crazy dancing, every speech, all just amazing. Within my 2016 wedding journey, I have traveled around so much of the UK and was even lucky enough to be flown out to Italy to shoot a beautiful Tuscany wedding, it’s been a landmark year.
So a massive thank you to all you awesome couples that chose me to be a part of your wedding day and trusted me enough to capture all those special memories for you, all those never to be repeated moments. It has to be said a massive thank you to Chris Teagles for being my second shooter for a good number of weddings this year, a solid photographer and a good buddy as well. Soppy as it may seem, I’d also like to say a massive thank you to Mirella, my wife, not just for the awesome general personal support but also for the little things that count, like putting plates of food in front of me when I needed it the most. (Yeah that’s me getting a smacker from Mirella below, I’m such a lucky man!).
I’m well on my way to my target of 40 weddings for 2017 and looking at the locations of these weddings, I’ve got some good travelling to look forward to around Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Hampshire, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, London, also including a trip to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and another visit to beautiful Italy, 2017 is going to be another amazing year.
If you have five minutes of your time, please take a moment to watch my highlight slideshow of 2016, you’ll need sound so turn it up, sit back and enjoy!
