About Me

Hi, my name is Marcus, I work as a full time professional photographer based in a beautiful little village called Stoke Mandeville in central Buckinghamshire.  I’m a family man, being very happily married to Mirella, a very proud dad to Max and thoroughly love my profession that allows me to be a part of so many couples special and joyous occasions.

My goal is simple, to tell your wedding story in the most natural and absolute best way possible.  Being a full time image maker, I’m never distracted away by any other work, I continually push myself hard to provide the best wedding stories for you, taking great pleasure in providing beautiful stunning wedding photography for you in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.  I’m a member of The Fearless Photographers group, being a unique photography directory of the world’s best wedding photographers who are not afraid to push the limits of professional wedding photography.

I am currently enjoying shooting beautiful weddings and also working for prestigious companies across Buckinghamshire including the Chilterns as well as surrounding counties such as Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire and of course working frequently in and around London; Having got married 8 years ago, I fully understand you should feel comfortable with your wedding photographer from the moment you meet them, this is my personal philosophy and I am always looking to establish long term sustainable relationships. Consistent quality and customer satisfaction are therefore key to me.

What is my style?
Every wedding day is built up of a series of never to be repeated moments, my style reflects a moment driven story telling approach, to not just capture the moments that are predictable at every wedding but to look for all the unrehearsed emotive moments that happen all throughout the day.  I will of course photograph your portraits during your day, I’m renowned for my fine art approach to my wedding portraiture and it is always my pleasure to capture you at your finest.  I will also fulfil a modest formal group shot list which most couples require as keepsake of family or friends getting together on your wedding day.  For the most part though I like to let the day happen using my experience and skills to act as witness to what is really happening on your wedding day.

If you would like to find out more about this style of photography, please contact as I’m always happy to talk about this and would welcome a chat over a good strong latte or espresso.

Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Stoke Mandeville near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire but I have and will travel to any part of the UK, even abroad if required, with Italy so far being one of my favourite destinations, hopefully you can present me with a new favourite place!

Are you insured?
Absolutely.  I am fully insured with both public liability and indemnity insurance, meeting most wedding venues requirements.

Equipment
I use professional level camera and lighting equipment, with enough spare kit to shoot your day twice and possibly a bit more.  I always bring professional lighting equipment not only to help capture unique portraits and moments from your day, but if the weather gets really bad and we have to shoot everything indoors, I have enough lighting kit with me to take portraits and groups inside.

Paperwork
Nothing too detailed, a contract to set out in open and honest clear terms that I will be your wedding photographer and what you have chosen to include in your wedding collection, plus a receipt showing clearly your wedding collection price, deposits and balance.  I’ll also supply you with a blank form which is my wedding photography schedule, that ensures I know the full timing of all parts of your day.

How do we book you.
It’s really straightforward, if you’d like to book me, simply click the ‘contact’ link above and provide me with your exciting wedding plans! I will endeavour to contact you back within 24 hours. A £250 deposit secures me for your date.  I look forward to hearing from you.

How much in advance should I book?
I receive enquiries regularly, most key dates are booked 12 to 18 months in advance so if you’ve made the decision that you want me to be a part of your day then please book me as soon as you are able. But please, even if you are planning a wedding at short notice, drop me a note with your date as you never know, short notice weddings are always welcome, providing I am available.
